Cheek swab. No blood draw.GeneSight® Testing uses a simple cheek swab to provide genetic information about how your body may process certain medications used for depression, anxiety and ADHD. Charles considers it alongside your symptoms, medical history, previous treatment response and a clinical evaluation. It is one input in a shared decision, not a guarantee of which medication will work.
