A first visit covers what you are feeling, how long it has been going on, what you have already tried and what is going on around it: sleep, work, health and family. From there, you and Charles build a plan together. It may include medication, therapy referrals, lifestyle changes or a mix.
Follow-up visits check how the plan is working, watch for side effects and adjust when something is not helping. Mental health symptoms tied to other medical conditions are looked at alongside them.

An appointment does not guarantee a particular diagnosis, a prescription, a controlled medication, hormone therapy, a lab order, an imaging study, a sleep study, a specialist referral, an accommodation letter or a particular treatment. Treatment decisions follow a clinical evaluation and the provider’s judgment.
